01 / DEVELOPMENT

Stage 1 · Emotion Robot

Integrate conversation, facial expressions and basic gestures into one experience. Connect hardware to the dialogue pipeline and repeatedly test interactions, including interruption and error feedback. Key deliverables are an integrated prototype, scenario definitions, motion limits and test results.

Development begins with separate checks of audio, display and actuators, then combines them in greeting and dialogue scenarios. Response delays, noise, temperature and joint movement will be assessed together. Before expansion, trials will examine whether new users can understand the main functions without extensive assistance.

Stage 2 · Indoor Autonomous Robot

Develop indoor mapping, localization, route planning, obstacle avoidance and docking. Test across lighting conditions, floor types, narrow passages and moving people. Extend Stage 1 interaction with behavior rules for users and surroundings while the robot moves.

Mobility requires coordination between navigation and conversation as well as reliable mapping and localization. Scenarios will cover interpersonal distance, waiting in corridors and recovery from unsuccessful docking. Expressive arms remain part of the design, with gestures separated into those allowed during travel and those performed while stationary.

Stage 3 · Helper Robot

Extend to assistance by combining object perception, grasping and arm motion planning. Start with bounded tasks and approved objects, accounting for shape, material, weight and nearby people. Validate how the robot retries or stops when a grasp fails.

Early manipulation tests will use defined objects and work areas before increasing complexity. Contact, arm load and the risk of dropping an object will be examined, along with the recipient’s readiness during handover. Paths and stop conditions will be designed for work in shared spaces.

04 / DEVELOPMENT

Stage 4 · Height Adjustable Robot

Explore adjustable working height to reach more spaces. Development considers structural stiffness, tipping stability, pinch prevention and control as posture changes. Integrate mobility and manipulation before extending the range of everyday settings.

Changing height changes the center of gravity and reach. Development will consider corresponding limits on travel speed and arm motion, task poses for tables or shelves, and safe return to charging or storage positions. Lift durability and repeated flexing of cables are also important test areas.

Progression criteria

Stages describe development direction rather than completed launches or commercial availability. Integration, safety review, field pilots and production readiness determine when the scope can expand.

Shared AI, cloud and operational interfaces are intended to carry across stages. Actual schedules and commercial terms will be announced separately.

Test results and unresolved issues will be recorded at each stage, including checks that new functions do not degrade existing behavior. User feedback and technical results will inform priorities. A successful demonstration and repeatable everyday operation will be tracked as distinct milestones.
